The film is an untold story about wild rabbits which lived between the Berlin Walls. For 28 years Death Zone was their safest home. Unfortunately one day the wall fell down. Rabbits had to move out and learn to live in free world again.
‘Rabbit a la Berlin’ was released in polish cinemas one year ago, and since November 2010 is available as a book with DVD.
On DVD one can find the extracts not included in the film such as “rabbit’s love story” and “building the paper wall”. The book contains: the Berlin Wall story wrote by popular Polish journalist and author of the commentary to the ‘Rabbit à la Berlin’ – Michał Ogórek, portraits of people presented in the film, interview with the film crew from the critic point of view and a selection of the best reviews.
Film is available in Polish version with English subtitles. The publisher of the box is Otter Films, production company, established by Anna Wydra, the producer of ‘Rabbit à la Berlin’.
