We were quite busy at NEW HORIZONS IFF with THE MUTE - the fiction project we are developing. The project was presented by Bartek Konopka and Anna Wydra to potential co-producers and sales agents within POLISH DAYS. The team jointed by Przemysław Nowakowski (co-author) had a great chance to discus the treatment with script editors: Sarah Golding and Katarzyna Siniarska within SCRIPT DOCTOR workshop.
Two of our project SIX DEGREES by Bartosz Dombrowski and ART OF DISAPPEARING by Bartek Konopka and Piotr Rosołowski were selected and presented at DOCS TO GO! - a joint initiative of the Polish Film Institute and the Krakow Film Foundation which aims to promote the best Polish documentaries-?in-?progress. Producers and directors of carefully chosen films at the rough-?cut stage presented the excerpts from the edited material in front of the invited distributors, sales agents, buyers, festival programmers and all the others experts and decision makers. Prior to Docs to go! Presentation a conference international festival programmers was held as a part of the Industry Zone. After the presentation there was a chance of having a one to one meeting with invited guests.
Anna Wydra together with Walter Stockman and Sara Garcia Villanueva will decide which film out of 15 will win the Magic Hour Award and 4,000 euros in the mid-length documentaries.The award is funded by the Polish Film Institute.
